General Recommendations On How To Set Up A Good Homework Schedule
In the moment that the life of a student becomes a way to chaotic, he seems to detach himself from it and begin to do nothing. This is a big side factor to the basic idea, that, most students, have no organization of their schedule. This is not something that is being taught in schools ( although it should be ) and it can either ruin or make the life of a student. Here are a few basic tips to help you out in making your own schedule and make it healthy too.
- Priorities. I know that schools seem to be the top priority today, but in my opinion, there are equally important aspects that are being rejected or ignored because society tells us not to worry about them too much. For example, doing your homework and then going out with your friends seems like a good idea, but if you listen to your body, and after the homework you find yourself in need of some rest, take a 30 min nap and it will bounce you right back up and on track. If you feel like this after school, taking a nap, eating something healthy which, take about an hour combined, will make you be more efficient through the rest of the day, saving you 2 hours. So although it seems that you don't have the time to take care of yourself sometimes, by doing so on a regular basis and making a habit out of it, it will ensure you better results in other areas of your life.
- Preferences. If you find yourself in the position of wanting to go to an art faculty, for example, you shouldn't bother with exact sciences like math for too much. This doesn't mean that you should be lazy and ignore them, but if you see that you can't do it right, better save yourself the stress and trouble and go to school the next day, explain clearly to your teacher and ask them to help you out with your homework instead. Maybe after that you will understand better and you will be able to do it.
- Social life. This is something that students either adore or ignore, but they fall into extremes. You should be able to balance things, even if it's hard at some point. Maybe going to that party today will not be such a good idea, because you have a big test or a big homework for tomorrow. This doesn't mean that you will miss every party there is, it's just that you are smart enough to realize what are the important things you should focus on.
