5 Not-So-Obvious Ways To Find Math Homework Answers
Okay, so I think it is fair to say that most students have been down the tried and tested methods when looking for solutions to their math homework. They have probably done the following a million times over:
- Got a friend to do it.
- Got help from family
- Searched their text books
- Searched the internet
Yes, you get the picture! However, believe it or not there are other ways of getting the answers to your math problems without resorting to tactics that will send you to sleep! Honest! So, in case you are yet to be convinced here’re 5 not-so-obvious ways to find math homework answers.
The everyday world
When I was first learning about numeracy, I remember my parents getting handfuls of coins and getting me to add them up. I didn’t feel as if I was doing math by any stretch of the imagination, but I sure was. Well, this premise can be applied to the everyday world. Not with something as basic as coins, but in the gadgets and everyday things that you have around you. Clearly it depends on what the question is, but I am betting that you can find answers this way!
Hmmm, imagine the scene, parent walks into the kitchen to find an absolute mess and asks their child “What on earth are you doing?” “I am doing my math homework” Is their reply! You’d be amazed at the many different mathematical strands that go into cooking. Everything from cooking upwards. So, next time you find yourself in a predicament go cook yourself out of it!
Applying the Pythagoras theory
I bet that you thought that the Pythagoras theory was a useless waste of time. Think again. Here’s another scenario for you – a young archaeologist needs to measure a tree for their archaeological dig. What do they turn to for help? Pythagoras of course!
Getting younger kids to help you
Most people when confronted with having to do their math, would instinctively turn to peers or someone older for help. However, younger brothers and sisters are often far more adept and readily able to access the answers. Nine times out of ten they are also usually willing to do it for a fraction of the price!
Just by thinking
Yeah, I know this might sound kind of revolutionary, but just taking the time out to think through your answers could be the perfect recipe!
